Bartending Training

Our bartenders receive thorough training practicing on a real bar station, with real glasses, and real bottles. Whether it's a busy nightclub, a high-class restaurant, the local pub, a rockin sports bar, or a swanky hotel, Bartenders Academy graduates start bartending with ease because of the breadth, depth, and quality of instruction they receive. And did we mention we train for speed?

Our 40 hour course can be completed:

  • As a one week intensive course (full time)
  • As a two week course (part time)
  • During 5 consecutive Saturdays
  • On a custom schedule! Call us to find a time that works for you!

Will I get a job?

Bartenders Academy has both local and national job placement assistance. We'll help you to find the pubs, sports bars, clubs, restaurants, hotels, caterers, and other bars that are right for you!

Good news for new bartenders: There are a ton of job openings all the time. The the bar industry has one of the highest turn over rates because of the high percentage of part-time bartenders and the high volume of bartenders in school that leave every semester. That means more opportunities to work.

More good news for new bartenders: There are over 3,000 bars in Connecticut and many bars have 3-4 bartenders each. That means plenty of work for the aspiring Professional Mixologist (fancy phrase for bartender).
