About Us

We have students working all over the Dallas Metroplex. This includes, Dallas, Fort Worth, Addison, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Irving, Arlington, Garland, Carrollton, Richardson, Keller, Denton, and more.

We asked the Bar/Restaurant Owners what skills they wanted Bartender School Graduates to have. This is what they said:

  • Speed and efficiency behind the bar.
  • Accuracy in liquor pouring.
  • Presentation of the drinks.

Our entire Bartending School Program is built around these three components. You will learn to use two hands while making drinks, learn to minimize the number of steps to complete multiple drink orders, learn to accurately pour from 1/4 ounce to 3 oz's of liquor, and learn the proper fill levels of the different glassware as well as all the Garnishes that go with the cocktails.

Externship Program

The Premium Institute of Bartending is the only Bartending School in the DFW area that requires every student complete a minimum of a 2-hour Externship at a local bar or restaurant prior to graduation. These are completed at the mid-point of the program. This will allow you to actually Bartend in a real bar PRIOR to graduating.

This also gives you the opportunity to learn a "Real" Point of Sale System (POS), make real drinks for real customers, and gain experience as a Bartender PRIOR to Graduating for our Bartending School. Additionally, we've had numerous students hired on the spot during their Externship.

The Externship Coordinator schedules each student an Externship Site based on the type of environment that the student wants to work in after graduation, the current needs of the site, and the student's availability. The Externship allows you to graduate with more than just the ABC's of Bartending.

Job Placement

We are very proud of our Job Placement Program and encourage individuals that are interested in our Dallas Bartending School to inquire about our documented job placement history. Our Bartenders are employed all over the Metroplex. We have assisted in placing Bartending School Graduates in Dallas, Fort Worth, Addison, Lewisville, Arlington, Flower Mound, Denton, Keller, Grapevine, Grand Prairie, Carrollton, and more.

State law does not allow trade schools to guarantee a job to every graduate but we do guarantee to provide all of the resources needed to prepare our graduates with the skills needed to locate employment. The Premium Institute of Bartending GUARANTEES you will receive the best training possible; prepare you for the interview; help you with your resume; and provide you job leads.

All graduates can contact the school at any time for job leads, to update their resume, or use the Internet for job searches. Graduates can work with the Student Placement Coordinator to prepare for interviews and inquire about current job postings.

Our campus offers online job placement assistance to all of its graduates. Each graduate is given a username and password to our online job database. This password protected site may be checked at any time of the day from any computer, at the student's convenience.
